Welcome to our horse showing events, where we are dedicated to supporting new riders and fostering a love for horse showing. Our shows are open to everyone, , and we welcome new members and we cater to all ages and abilities. From novice horses and riders to more experienced combinations, we provide plenty of encouragement and guidance. Our qualified judges and officials are always on hand to offer advice and support, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
Showing Tips

Be respectful

Give other riders space, don't cut them off, and be polite to the judges.

Respect the judges' decisions, even if they aren't in your favour.

Arrive early

Give yourself enough time to feed your horse, tack up, and warm up. This also gives your horse time to get used to the show environment.

Practice - Consistent practice can help build your confidence and improve your skills.

Attend Team CKRC - shows are less stressful and can help new horses get used to the show environment.

Establish a relationship with your horse before riding, greet your horse by offering the back of your hand for it to smell.

Polish your flatwork

Learn to walk, trot, and canter your horse on flat ground.

Be present

Practice being present in your daily routines and with your horse.

Plan ahead

Make sure you and your horse are in good physical condition, and check your gear.
